MARK SYZEMORE-Owner and Head Guide with Red Dirt Outfitters

Mark's lifetime of experience with hunting is how he came to have a thorough understanding of the wildlife and how they think and reason, as well as a superior knowledge of the land here in western Oklahoma. He has a remarkable record of getting hunters on hogs with his unique spot and stalk method and not only is he skilled enough to get within 'rock-throwing' distance of a large herd, he also has an impressive harvest of a hog at 874 yards with a kill shot to the ear. While his passion is hunting hogs, he's also very successful with deer, turkey, and predator hunting, which are all plentiful in Red Dirt Outfitters country.

LACEY SYZEMORE- The Lady Behind the Curtain
Mark's wife, Lacey, is also known for her love of guns and hunting. She has been hunting since the age of 16 when her father surprised her for her birthday with a youth model Remington 870, not only her very first shotgun, but very first gun of her own. It all went downhill from there! She enjoys both the thrill of sneaking up on a herd of hogs within a few yards and harvesting one with her pistol as well taking a kill shot from several hundred yards with her rifle. Just back from a women's only shooting conference in Texas for the national A Girl and A Gun organization, Lacey is always looking to further her knowledge and experience with all types of guns and hunting.

WARREN AND EVERETT SYZEMORE- The Up and Coming
Mark and Lacey's oldest son Warren, now 10, is already an experienced hunter with more game harvests under his belt than some adults. He took his first doe and buck at age 7 and just recently harvested a hog at 60+ yards just before dusk, shooting off-hand. His brother Ev, 6, is looking forward to taking his first harvest this fall. Both boys have been raised with a respectful understanding and love for guns and hunting.
