Wow! What an amazing journey GOD has had us on. In January of this year we
got a call for a pastor in Arizona inviting us to come do a church service on the reservation and go on a trail ride. After
much prayer we accepted the invitation.
So on September 17th, we headed to the Navajo Reservation near Page, Arizona, to share the LORD
with new friends. Indescribable doesn't even come close to the sights we experienced. Our GOD is soooooooo amazing and the
land that HE has created is so beautiful.
The pastor that invited us was John Fuller of The Kaibeto Full Gospel church. We were told that they would
be having a revival September 17-21. The Trail ride was a part of this revival, it was a 14 to 20 mile ride that would end
up
at the church where Alan would then do the service.
Clayton and Melanie Taylor were kind enough to loan us their 4 horse
slant load trailer so that we could
haul our horses. Although it would have been easier and less costly to not take horses with us, we wanted to be able to ride
with everyone on the trail ride and develop relationships along the trail.
The view from atop the mesa was an amazing experience. There were over 9 other pastors that were on the ride.
In the poem Cowboys in the Kingdom, there is a line that reads "The view from the back of a well broke horse is about as good
as it gets". The views that we were able to see along the ride were awesome and we were praising the LORD that we were on
well broke horses. This ride was not
something for the faint of heart, but we knew that GOD was riding with us and it is
something that we will never forget.
GOD is breaking down barriers that the church has put up and calling HIS people to be one body. We feel very
BLESSED to have had this opportunity.
In 2 Corinthians 5:7, the word says "for we live by faith not by sight".
We
encourage you no matter the situation that you find yourself in, to walk on by faith. Knowing that the LORD our Father is
with you always and in everything.
We hope you look around our site and contact us if you need prayer or anything else. We hope to see you
down the trail and pray the LORD be with you.
Servants in CHRIST,
Pastor Alan & Sherry
