Warren and Border Collie pup

Q. What does my dog need to bring with him when he stays at your kennel for boarding or training?
A. Your dog must be current on all age appropriate vaccinations(including bordatella), and a copy of his rabies certificate must be presented when the dog is dropped off at our facility(A rabies tag is not sufficient as it does not have the dog's name included on it). If your dog will be staying for less than a week, it would be best for him to bring his own food so that digestive problems don't arise with the diet change. If your dog would like, he may bring a special blanket or toy, but a small charge will be added to your bill for upkeep of the extra items.

Q. How old or young does my dog need to be for training/boarding?
A. We ask that your dog be at least 10 weeks old for training and 6 months for boarding. And yes, we can also teach old dogs new tricks.

Q. What's included when I board my dog?
A. Personal attention is a big aspect in our training and boarding. Your dog will be taken in and out of the kennel on leash 3-4 times per day. During these times, your dog will be allowed to exercise, play and interract with other dogs. We don't allow out-of-control behavior at our facilities (i.e. barking, pulling on the leash, lunging, jumping, etc.) and these are all things that will be attended to as your dog is boarded here. There are also a list of "extra" activities that you can choose from for your dog to enjoy. Not only will your dog enjoy his stay but he will come home more relaxed by being in a controlled and anxiety-free environment.

Q. When can I pick up/drop off my dog?
A. We ask that pick up and drop off of your dog is done by appointment only. This allows us to give as much attention to you and your dog as possible.

Q. When do I need to make arrangements for my dog to stay?
A. We only have a limited amount of space available, especially on busy weekends or holidays. If you want to guarantee a space for your dog, please contact us early as it is possible we will fill our spots quickly.

Q. What is the difference between your extended stay training and private lessons?
A. In the extended stay training option, we train your dog. This provides a solid foundation of consistent and effective training that gives you, as well as your dog, a head start.
When you take private lessons, we train you to train your dog. This can be very effective, but can also prove to be a bit more difficult as you are essentially learning and training at the same time.
With either option the end result is hopefully the same, a well behaved pet/family member who is much more enjoyable. Your personal situation will be the deciding factor on which one will work best for you.
